Jack Herrick has been playing traditional British Isles and American music regionally and nationally for over 35 years. He's a founding member of the Red Clay Ramblers - sometimes called "Americas What's It Band." The Ramblers won a Tony award for the production of Fool Moon, collaborated with Sam Shepard for an Off Broadway play a Lie of the Mind, and made countless recordings and international performances. You probably heard them on Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion. 

Bob Vasile won the Wayne Henderson flat picking competition in 1996. In 1993, with Freyda Epstein and Ralph Gordon formerly of Trapezoid, he formed the group Acoustic Attitude. Their Red House Records CD Midnight at Cabel Hall won national recognition. Their live performances included two live Mountain Stage radio shows broadcasting on over 120 NPR radio stations; they shared the stage with Mark O'Conner, Tony Rice, Mike Marshal and Darol Anger and toured with Bella Fleck and the Flecktones, John Hartford, and Jay Unger.

Jane Peppler began playing with Bob Vasile in 1982. As the Pratie Heads (Gaelic for "Potato"), they were long time members of the NC Touring Artists program; they gave a St Patrick's concert at the Smithsonian Institution and appeared live on the Diane Rehm radio show in Washington DC. Steve Winick wrote in Dirty Linen magazine: "The Pratie Heads were their state's premiere performers of British Isles traditional music." Since then Jane has performed with the world music band Mappamundi and has lectured and performed rare Yiddish theater music at the Library of Congress, at Yidish Vokh and Trip to Yiddishland, and in Poland.
